MEET THE AEG TEAM:

Kevin Mack

Director

Kevin Mack's journey into the event industry began in 2014 with the desire to re imagine the future of Australian tattooing, following thru with this mission saw Kevin develop and curate world renowned events for the tattoo industry, including Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival and Australian Tattoo Expo across the country.

Kevin's passion and commitment to the event sector drives Australian Exhibition Group, continuously pushing the envelope, striving for forever moving goal posts. This desire lead to the acquisition of Australia's favourite adults only entertainment event, SEXPO, where Kevin's vision to reinvigorate and produce world class events was again at the forefront of his attention.

Brock Chamings

Head of Creative

With an extensive background in design and business branding, Brock has comprehensive experience in working with events, clients and suppliers to bring the company's ideas to a visual reality.

Previously a freelance artist, Brock's skill set is self taught, brought on by a continuous desire to grow and develop as a jack of all trades. Brock is responsible for all visual elements to Australian Exhibition Groups identity, including Graphic Design, Videography, Copywriting and much more.

Whether it's big or small, Brock prides himself on providing quality creative and experiences as he believes that first impressions last and that a book is always judged by its cover.

Adam Jones

Project Manager

Adam has over 10 years of event management experience, having previously worked with Australian events such as The Fitness Show, Good Food and Wine Show, Oz Comicon, The Dog Lovers Show and many more.

Adam has worked with some of Australia's largest event companies such as Reed Exhibitions, Diversified Communications, Talk 2 Media & Events.

Working in all aspects of exhibitions, festivals and events and marketing, Adam has developed essential skills in roles including Event Co-Ordinator, Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Digital Marketing.

Belinda Gavin

Andrew Jevon

Accounts Manager

Andrew, a meticulous and precise CPA Accountant, has amassed over 10 years of experience in finance and management.

Further utilising his skills in numbers as Australian Exhibition Group's dedicated Accounts Manager, Andrew’s role is imperative, ensuring that the company's financial infrastructures and systems are in place and working to an incredibly high standard to ensure seamless operation within the business.

Andrew's skills, vision and thoroughness will assist in bringing the success of the Australian Exhibition Group team into a reality.

Talia Notarfrancesco

Event Co-Ordinator

Coming from a supplier based background, Talia has a strong history in the events industry with Customer Service and Sales experience to match. Talia has worked with Harry the Hirer on some of Australia's largest exhibitions and trade shows including the Australian GP, Australian Open, Motorclassica, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and much more.

Talia brings her level of expertise to Australian Exhibition Group as the Event Co-Ordinator, working closely with the project management team to ensure that AEG events are delivered successfully with a hope that each and every exhibitor and patron leave our events with a mind-blowing experience.

David Vea

Junior Creative

With a keen eye and an eagerness to always learn new things, David has quickly become an essential part to the visitor's pre and post show experience at Australian Exhibition Group. Absorbing skill sets is no problem for David, having learnt beginner to intermediate levels of Graphic Design, Photography, Videography and Social Media marketing in a short space of time.

David has a positive mind-set and no task is ever too hard or unachievable, whether its being able to pick up tasks to further ease his colleagues when the work load gets tough, or providing an ear to listen, David is an extremely valuable asset to AEG.

David's passion for events comes from the desire to bring people together, to leave his mark on a fast paced, ever growing industry by making sure that exhibitors and patrons have the tools at their disposal to do what they love and have a memorable experience at our events.

Sophie Symmons

Administration

Sophie has a specialised background in event production, stage management and client relations with over 8 years of experience producing world-class events throughout Australia. From creating inspiring conferences, supervising major events such as the Grand Prix and Melbourne Cup, to stage managing educational summits and fashion shows. 

Sophie's role at AEG is a diverse and unique one, playing part in administration, events and operations. Sophie is highly valued in regard to her ability to coordinate numerous teams, all while overseeing multiple events. Sophie is a people person through and through who is always up for having a chat and a laugh. Sophie's favourite pastimes being a wine enthusiast and an exercise lover may be conflicting, but in her field of work, they compliment each other perfectly.

Joel McIlvena
